Beta Lambda Lambda chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is a caused-based organization and we commit our lives to continuing the noble work laid down by our Founders. Our local chapter initiatives support many worthwhile causes across Gwinnett County and extending to the metro Atlanta area such as literacy, food and clothing banks, health screens and health education, and mentoring youth. Beta Lambda Lambda’s philanthropic efforts are funded through the various events hosted by the chapter throughout the year. Tom Joyner
Radio legend, founder and host of the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show - one of the most popular radio shows for African Americans with more than 8 million listeners daily in more than 100 markets. Via his foundation has raised more than $65 million for HBCUs .
Rev. Jesse Jackson
Civil rights icon and two-time Democratic presidential candidate, Jackson became one of the most influential African-Americans of the late 20th century. He rose to prominence working within Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Southern Christian Leadership Conference . Founder of Operation Push, which pressed for broader employment opportunities for African-Americans.
Vernon E. Jordan, Jr.
Business executive and civil rights activist, Vernon Jordan is a leading figure in the Civil Rights Movement, and was chosen by former President Bill Clinton as a close adviser. In 1961, he helped organize the integration of the University of Georgia and personally escorted student Charlayne Hunter through a hostile white crowd.
